

Shannon L. Rountree is the founder and owner of the firm. She is a local Floridian who was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida. She earned her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida. Ms. Rountree has handled a variety of legal and appellate issues, including litigation of more than 100 bench and jury trials. With her experience, she has trained and mentored local and statewide attorneys in the areas of evidence and trial strategy. Prior to starting her own practice, she served as an assistant state attorney for the felony division in Palm Beach County and then transitioned to civil practice managing the litigation and administration of probate, trust, guardianship cases at a local probate and trust law firm.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rountree has been featured in Legal Leader's magazine as a top-rated lawyer in South Florida, received Florida Trend's Legal Elite Award recognizing top attorneys, and she been recognized by judges and superior rank law enforcement officers for her professionalism and trial skills. She has spoken nationally on the prosecution and defense of will contests and recently was featured as a presenter for the Palm Beach County Bar Association Bench Bar Conference in 2022. She is an active committee member for the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar, where attorneys work collaboratively to analyze evolving legal issues for the purpose of improving the administration of probate and trust law. In connection with her service on these committees, Ms. Rountree has been tasked to draft legislation which was approved by our Florida Legislature and is currently part of the Florida laws governing probate and guardianship matters.
